My first training in Tokyo. There is a very long story about this tie - its place in both my rope journey, and that of some others. Regardless, it was the beginning of a wonderful relationship with this beautiful, sweet person, Aya.

Nox has since moved out of the area, gotten married, and started a family. But we're still in touch from time to time. One of my first real friends after moving to Santa Fe. And will always be one of my favorite people
